a tough Wrapped Outer Cover and not the Softer Extruded (smooth cover) that most manufacturers and distributors now use.
We have found that the soft and smooth outer covers are just not up to the job on most applications where there is a combination of vibration, articulation, dust, dirt, and sand.

(Smooth cover hydraulic hose does however have a small advantage in saltwater marine environments as it seems to have

Two Wire Hydraulic Hose Means that the Hose is reinforced with two Layers of Braided High Tensile Steel Wire.

The High Tensile Steel braided wire reinforcing is designed to withstand High Pressures.
Depending on the hose bore size, working pressures will range from
3,000 to 5,800 psi (215 to 400 bar) yet the braided wire will still allow the Hydraulic Hose
to move and be flexible when operating under these high pressures.

The AT after the SAE100R2 means that the hose has a higher resistance to
elevated temperatures up to 120 °C intermittent Use.

This hose is Certified to work without failure a minimum of 200,000 Impulse Cycles (equivalent to almost excavator earth moving hours) at 133% of maximum pressure ( psi) and at 100% of maximum temperature 120 °C.
